To share joy with rescued and redesigned floral bouquets; to affirm value through beauty and kindness.
At Joy Blooms, our vision is to use donated flowers to create beautiful bouquets, arranged by volunteers and delivered to our community’s residents, to provide a positive emotional lift.
Flowers are generously donated from weddings, corporate and private events, memorial services, florists, and retailers. We utilize sustainable practices by rescuing flowers, recycling vases, and composting floral trimmings.
We partner with healthcare/retirement communities and programs sponsored by other nonprofits in our area.

Our Story
Joy Blooms is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization composed entirely of volunteers, serving the Elkhart, Indiana area.
Joy Blooms was established by Nancy Stoelting, whose love of flowers is inspired by her mother and grandmother who appreciated nature’s beauty. Nancy has witnessed the positive emotional effects of kindness through personal interaction and she loves to lift up others. Nancy believes everyone can benefit from the privilege of serving.
Joy Blooms strives to use sustainable practices of recycling and composting. We partner with other nonprofits in our area for mutual benefit.

Donate Money
Monetary donations are greatly appreciated to support the usual business expenses of supplies, insurance, software, etc. Your donation may be tax deductible.

Our organization runs on volunteer power, and we are always seeking creative and generous individuals to support our mission!

Donate Flowers or Vases
We welcome donations of flowers from local events. Gently used glass vases 6”-8” tall are the ideal size. All vases will be used, resold, or recycled.
